Job description


We’re seeking a Jr/Mid level Electrical Engineer who can support electrical, instrumentation, and controls design within a high-technology manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong blend of electrical system modeling, industrial controls knowledge, and hands-on experience with power distribution and automation platforms. You’ll work on modernizing systems, supporting facility expansions, and ensuring reliable operation across complex PLC/DCS/SCADA networks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical system modeling and analysis including load flow, short circuit, and coordination studies.
  • Design and configure low-voltage power distribution systems, VFDs, instrumentation, and equipment integration for advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and revise PLC/DCS control logic, SCADA configurations, and communication pathways for industrial equipment and facility systems.
  • Create and update technical drawings, one-lines, and layout documentation using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Support implementation of industrial network protocols and infrastructure communication between field devices, automation platforms, and supervisory systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE preferred) or related discipline.
  • PE or EIT is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical and controls engineering within industrial, high-tech, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with electrical modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS platforms, SCADA systems, and VFD configuration.
  • Experience designing low-voltage power distribution systems and equipment connections.
  • Familiarity with industrial network protocols.
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit proficiency for electrical and controls design.
