The Necessities: You must have a bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience working as a front-end developer, web designer, UX designer in lieu of degree Build out websites and keep websites up to date using WordPress and Joomla WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front-end best practices in secure government environments Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups is your jam Knowledge of human-centered design methodology or design thinking principles Working independently or jumping in to work collaboratively with a team The Nice to Haves: Experience designing and developing high-quality frontend websites using  HTML and CSS Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite including XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop Certifications in UX/UI, Accessibility, and/or Front-End Development Developing and/or managing websites using a CMS doesn’t scare you, especially Joomla!
