Job Description

Developing new user-interface (UI) components 

Building reusable code and libraries for future use 

Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs 

Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability 

Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end 

Creating and maintaining promotional banners throughout the site 

Building templates for new pages and page redesigns 

Collaborating on email designs and coding HTML templates 

Keeping up with the latest technology (i.e. HTML5, CSS3, etc.) 


Requirements: 


Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field 

Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver 

Experience translating prototypes and designs into clean, valid, and launch-ready mark-up. 

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery 

Ability to collaborate with the back-end development team to ensure tech and design are in sync. 

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. 

Passion for producing pixel perfect code 

Knowledge of CMS systems (i.e. WordPress and Joomla).

Qualifications
