Job description

Salary: $17.50/Hour Minimum
Bargaining Unit (click here for contracts): AGCEP Contract
Report Times: 6:30am - 2:00pm
Daily Hours: 7.5 (7 Paid)
Work Year: 39 weeks
Supervisor: Principal
Civil Service Title: Office Clerk IV (Competitive - NY HELPS Program) 
Minimum Requirements: 
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.












This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). HELPS Program titles may be filled via a non-competitive appointment. This means that you do not need to take an exam to qualify, but you do need to meet the minimum qualifications of the title.
At a future date (within one year of permanent appointment), employees hired under NY HELPS are expected to have their permanent non-competitive employment status converted to permanent competitive status. You will not have to take an exam to gain permanent competitive status.


Desired Qualifications: 
Typing/word processing skills;
Strong computer knowledge;
Experience with infinite campus or equivalent;
Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents, use of Google Cloud;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Strong clerical and organizational skills;
Must be flexible, responsible and dependable.
Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
Assist in attendance office;
Supports with copying jobs for staff;
Managing and purging student files;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
