Job description

You will help support and enhance mission-critical technology solutions in a collaborative, client-service environment. As a Managed Services Engineer II (Android Developer), you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain application stability, improve operational performance, and drive issue resolution across production and non-production environments. This role is well suited for a professional who brings hands-on engineering experience, operational discipline, and a focus on delivering reliable outcomes. You will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing improvement efforts while working within Deloitte's Project Talent Model.
Work you'll do
As a Managed Services Engineer II on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
  • Support day-to-day operations for enterprise applications and platforms, including monitoring, incident response, defect resolution, and service restoration
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and environment issues across development, test, and production environments
  • Partner with product, engineering, infrastructure, and client stakeholders to identify root causes, implement fixes, and improve system reliability
  • Execute and support change, release, and deployment activities in accordance with established operational and risk controls
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation, documentation, and support readiness activities to improve service quality and operational efficiency

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, platforms, or managed services environments
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management in production support environments
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and root cause analysis for application or platform support
  • Experience with scripting or automation in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or SQL
  • Experience working with release support, defect triage, and environment coordination across multiple teams
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting mobile, digital, or customer ordering applications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with DevOps or continuous integration / continuous deployment tools

  • Experience with application performance monitoring and observability platforms
