Senior Living Sales Specialist

Wage: $80,000-$90,000 (plus bonus structure)

The Sales Specialist is a results-driven professional responsible for driving new resident move-ins and increasing occupancy. This role steps into communities—during transitions, vacancies, or periods of under performance—to execute sales strategies with urgency and independence. Success is measured by move-ins, not activity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Move-In Execution: Prioritize converting inquiries into move-ins. Identify pipeline barriers, conduct discovery-based tours, and close sales with persistence and professionalism.

  • Focused Sales Activity: Maintain high-volume sales outreach (calls, follow-ups, tours) while remaining insulated from workplace "noise" or internal distractions.

  • Sales Process Mastery: Utilize the Jaybird Sales Academy playbook and behaviors of success to manage the CRM and database with high accuracy.

  • Business Development: Conduct weekly outreach and networking to meet professional referral and event targets.

  • Community Readiness: Ensure first impressions are elite by auditing model apartments and community tour paths; address barriers to "tour-readiness" immediately.

  • Collaboration: Partner with regional leadership and the marketing department to develop and execute community-specific action plans.

  • Independent Ownership: Manage the entire sales life cycle with limited oversight, providing weekly recaps and proactive updates to regional teams.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–5 years in senior living sales, marketing, or operations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to build trust quickly with prospects and internal teams.

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of CRM databases, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and mobile operating systems.

  • Attributes: High emotional maturity, resilience, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

  • Travel: Valid driver’s license required for extensive travel between communities.

  • Environment: Primarily indoor, climate-controlled settings; requires frequent interaction with families and seniors who may be under stress.

  • Safety: This is a safety-sensitive position requiring high levels of focus and discretion.

The Perks That Matter:
  • Competitive salary and bonus opportunities

  • Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance

  • 401(k) with match

  • Paid time off and flexible hours

  • Employee assistance program and on-demand pay

  • Career growth in a fast-growing company
