Job Summary: Terra Mae is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Hosts to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your warm demeanor and exceptional organizational skills will help create memorable moments for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greeting: Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Seating Management: Manage the seating chart efficiently, assigning tables and ensuring a smooth flow of guests.
  • Waitlist Management: Handle waitlists with professionalism, keeping guests informed of wait times and providing updates as needed.
  • Table Maintenance: Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and readiness of dining areas.
  • Customer Service: Engage with guests, answering questions about the menu and restaurant, and addressing any special requests or needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and service during peak hours.
  • Supportive Tasks: Assist in any additional duties as assigned to maintain a smooth operation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, ideally in an upscale dining environment.
  • Proficiency in Resy and/or Open Table Required.
  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week.
  • A passion for food, beverage, and cultural fusion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and strong multitasking abilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain any necessary food and beverage service certifications.
