Business Analyst - Pension
Location: Remote
Salary: $80-120k
Sabot Consulting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead analysis and design for enterprise systems, support testing activities, and ensure effective knowledge transfer. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Power BI, and the ability to facilitate JAR and JAD sessions.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead analysis and design for enterprise systems.
  • Facilitate Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
  • Document business requirements, design artifacts, and traceability matrix.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Assist in the development of test scripts.
  • Execute test cases and track defects.
  • Document and share test results with relevant stakeholders.
  • Triage defects with IT and business teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation, shadowing, and training to team members.
  • Ensure ongoing transfer of knowledge and documentation.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project work and technical writing, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), use cases, and design documents.
  • 5 years of experience in Business Process Reengineering (BPR), including 5 years of experience in mapping and gap analysis.
  • 5 years facilitating JAD/JAR sessions.
  • 5 years system testing (scripts, test cases, UAT support)
  • Experience with BI dashboards (Power BI)
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, Visio, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, qTest
  • Experience with public pension systems or government retirement/health programs
  • 5 years of experience in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Nice To Have:
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and CRM platforms.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)
  • Experience supporting large-scale Public Sector IT projects.
