Key Responsibilities
  • Administer general anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures for adult and pediatric patients
  • Provide anesthesia care and management for neurosurgical cases; monitor neurological status pre- and post-op
  • Perform regional techniques including spinal anesthesia and administer local infiltration anesthesia as needed
  • Manage ventilation and respiratory status throughout the perioperative period
  • Deliver anesthesia under a collaborative model with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in a hospital-based environment
  • Maintain continuous patient monitoring during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases and document care accurately in Epic EMR
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, safety standards, and infection control
  • Respond to emergencies and provide airway management including intubation when necessary
  • Support a daily surgical volume of approximately 50 cases with rotating assignments based on clinical need
Skills & Competencies (Preferred)
  • Experience in Level II Trauma Center or high-volume hospital settings
  • Comfort with pediatric anesthesia and neurosurgical case management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in perioperative environments
  • Familiarity with perioperative workflows and quality/safety initiatives
