Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Network Collaboration Engineer to join a leading government technology and defense services organization. The Senior Network Collaboration Engineer will serve as a trusted advisor to the client, supporting enterprise networking and unified communications infrastructure at Scott Air Force Base. The Senior Network Collaboration Engineer is a long term contract opportunity and requires you to work onsite 4 days per week on Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Responsibilities of the Senior Network Collaboration Engineer: * Serve as a trusted advisor for network and collaboration technologies.
* Support and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications environments, including Call Manager and Jabber.
* Manage Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking, routing, switching, and spanning tree protocols.
* Maintain firewall policies and network security standards.
* Support PSTN connectivity, gateway protocols, and enterprise voice solutions.
* Perform lifecycle management, upgrades, and infrastructure modernization.
Requirements of the Senior Network Collaboration Engineer: * Active Secret Security Clearance required.
* 8+ years of networking and collaboration/UC experience.
* CCIE Collaboration or CCNP Collaboration certification required.
* Strong experience with Cisco Call Manager and Jabber.
* Knowledge of routing, switching, Layer 1/Layer 2 networking, and spanning tree.
* Experience with firewall policy management, PSTN, and gateway protocols.
* Ability to work onsite four (4) days per week at Scott Air Force Base, IL.
Compensation for the Senior Network Collaboration Engineer: * $135,000 - $160,000
