We are seeking a Permanent Rheumatologist in Ohio.

Permanent Rheumatologist

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Rheumatology

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Days; Flexible 2-5 days/week (4hr, 8hr, 10hr, or 12hr days) OR Week On/Week Off (Mon-Thurs 7am–7pm, Fri 7am–5pm, optional Sat 4hr)

Position Details:
Patient Population: Outpatient rheumatology care
Setting: State-of-the-art outpatient facility at BVHS Wellness Park
Responsibilities:

  • Provide 100% outpatient rheumatology care

  • Create personalized schedule: part-time, full-time, or week on/week off

  • Select patient mix and age group

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical and surgical specialties

  • Participate in weekly CME and Mayo Clinic Care Network programs

  • Use Cerner EMR

  • Optional teaching of medical students and APP trainees

  • Access Mayo Clinic eConsults, eBoards, and AskMayoExpert

  • Benefit from 24/7 in-house hospitalist support for inpatient needs

Required Procedures: Rheumatology outpatient procedures as appropriate
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Experienced care team model support
Days Per Month: Flexible, 2-5 days per week or week on/week off
On-Call/Weekends: Office voicemail only, average less than one call per month; optional 4-hour Saturday shift

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Rheumatology (within 5 years of eligibility)

  • Ohio medical license or willing to obtain

  • Date of agency's last communication with provider

  • Reason for candidate interest in BVHS

  • Visa status (J1 or H1B support? Must be noted)

  • Clean malpractice and license status
