1. Math Modeling Coach (HiMCM Focus)
- Academic Background: Master’s or PhD candidate (or high-achieving senior) in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Physics. Must be proficient in mathematical modeling software (MATLAB, Python, or R).
- Competition Experience: Previous success (Meritorious, Finalist, or Outstanding) in the HiMCM or the collegiate-level MCM/ICM. Experience in technical paper writing for COMAP is essential.
2. Business & Entrepreneurship Coach (Blue Ocean & Diamond Challenge)
- Academic Background: Degree or background in Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or Economics. Familiarity with the "Blue Ocean Strategy" methodology (ERRC Grid, Strategy Canvas) is a plus.
- Competition Experience: Experience competing in or coaching teams for the Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition or the Diamond Challenge (Business or Social Innovation tracks). Strong skills in pitch deck design and video scriptwriting.
3. Finance & Marketing Analysis Coach (DECA / FBLA)
- Academic Background: Undergraduate or graduate focus in Finance, Marketing, or Business Administration. Solid understanding of GAAP, market analysis frameworks (SWOT, PESTEL), and financial modeling.
- Competition Experience: Former ICDC (DECA) or National Leadership Conference (FBLA) qualifier/winner. Specific expertise in role-play scenarios, case study analysis, and professional presentation skills.
4. Writing & Humanities Coach (Scholastic, NYT, John Locke)
- Academic Background: Degree in English, Creative Writing, Philosophy, or PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics). Strong grasp of argumentative logic and stylistic nuance.
- Competition Experience: Previous winners or judges of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, The New York Times Learning Network contests, or the John Locke Institute Essay Prize. Ability to guide students through rigorous prompt analysis and multiple draft revisions.
5. History Research Mentor (The Concord Review / NHD)
- Academic Background: Degree in History, Political Science, or International Relations. Exceptional skills in primary source analysis and historiography.
- Competition Experience: Experience guiding students through the National History Day (NHD) regional/national levels or success in having student work published in The Concord Review. Familiarity with the National Writing Board (NWB) standards.
6. STEM & Science Olympiad Coach
- Academic Background: Background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering. Specialist knowledge in at least two SciOly "event clusters" (e.g., Life Science, Build Events, or Inquiry).
- Competition Experience: Former Science Olympiad competitor at the State or National level (Division B or C). Ability to lead both "study" events (testing knowledge) and "build" events (mentoring iterative design and logbook maintenance).
7. Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Specialist
As Prime Ivy expands, we are seeking instructors for high-demand AP subjects. Our goal is not just to help students achieve a "5," but to ensure they master the foundational concepts required for top-tier university coursework.
- Academic Background:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field directly related to the AP subject (e.g., Biology for AP Bio, Economics for AP Macro/Micro).
- Deep familiarity with the current College Board Course and Exam Description (CED) and scoring rubrics.
