Key Responsibilities
  • Install and activate high-speed internet and voice services over copper infrastructure
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of broadband lines and equipment
  • Run, terminate, and test copper cabling (inside and outside the home)
  • Install network interface devices (NIDs), modems, and related equipment
  • Diagnose service issues using testing tools and resolve connectivity problems
  • Educate customers on service usage and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and service records
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements
  • Experience in telecommunications, broadband, or copper line installation preferred
  • Strong understanding of copper wiring, DSL, or voice services (a plus, not required)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Must have own vehicle and tools required to perform installations
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
