Position Summary

The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and infrastructure services across all reactive and proactive service requests within the Infrastructure Managed Services division. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, customer service excellence, and operational discipline.
Work will be performed both onsite at client locations and remotely from Entech’s Service Desk. The Systems Engineer serves as a key technical resource, working independently and collaboratively to ensure timely resolution of incidents, minimizing client disruption, and maintain system stability and performance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues across servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments
  • Respond to service requests and proactive monitoring alerts
  • Support Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking equipment, and security systems
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and infrastructure improvements
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate ticket notes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors as needed
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and communication

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical support, systems administration, or MSP environment
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with:
  • Windows 10/11
  • Microsoft 365
  • Windows Server environments
  • Networking and VPN connectivity
  • Active Directory
  • Azure and virtualization technologies
  • Experience supporting both onsite and remote users
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
