IT Staffing Business Development ManagerIntroduction:

This position requires an individual with a strong background in business development, staff augmentation, MSP, and relationship building. The IT Staffing Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients and MSP/VMS accounts for various types of placements including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire. Collaboration with recruiting teams to align client requirements with qualified candidates and negotiation of commercial terms will also be key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, prospect, build relationships, and secure new clients and MSP/VMS accounts for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire placements.
  • Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to align client requirements with qualified candidates.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, service agreements, and rate cards while maintaining a healthy pipeline.
  • Stay current on IT hiring trends such as cloud, AI, and software development to consult effectively with clients.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of B2B sales experience in the IT staffing, consulting, or staff augmentation industry.
  • Strong understanding of staffing models (W2, C2C, 1099) and familiarity with platforms like Beeline or Fieldglass.
  • Hunter mindset, persuasive communication, contract negotiation, and strong relationship-building abilities.
