Job description

This is a replacement role (backfill) supporting Trading & Supply IT organization within the Crude North America portfolio. The resource will join an Agile Product Delivery Team focused on Endur and Oil Data Warehouse (ODW) systems.

The role is a mix of hands-on development + production support, with ownership across defect resolution, enhancements, and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Endur-based applications
  • Support production issues, triaging, and resolution (L2/L3 support)
  • Deliver defect fixes, enhancements, and small projects
  • Create technical designs, estimates, and documentation
  • Work within Agile delivery teams (sprints, backlog prioritization)
  • Support Change & Problem Management via ServiceNow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Endur + ODW-related issues end-to-end
  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams across Trading & Supply

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • Endur (Openlink) – strong hands-on development experience
  • Java (core development)
  • PL/SQL / Oracle SQL (advanced level)
  • Experience supporting Endur in production environments
  • Experience with incident/problem management + code triaging
  • Strong requirements analysis and technical design skills

Nice to Have (Keep Tight)

  • Experience with Oil Data Warehouse (ODW)
  • Exposure to .NET
  • Prior experience in energy trading / commodities (Crude, T&S)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows

  • No hands-on Endur development (support-only profiles)
  • Generic Java developers without trading systems experience
  • No production support / triage experience
  • No SQL/PLSQL depth
  • Candidates without recent relevant experience (last ~3–5 years)
