As Director IT - Software & Project at Honeywell, you will lead IT strategy and digital solutions deployment that advance Business capabilities and directly enable efficiency and outcome. This role is highly strategic and will shape the future of Honeywell's software landscape, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support growth and operational excellence. 

In this role, you will serve as a trusted IT business partner to Honeywell Building Automation (BA) Project Business, owning both short- and long-term digital technology needs. You will balance strategic transformation initiatives with the operational rigor required to keep the business running-driving efficiency, enabling growth, and delivering measurable business value.

You will report directly to the CIO of Honeywell Building Solutions and be based in Atlanta, GA, operating on a hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in IT software development, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role serving as an IT business partner for a comparable business.
  • Emerging Technology Expertise: Strong experience with AI, cloud transformation (Azure and/or AWS), IoT, and connected products.
  • Proven ability to identify and deploy AI tools and capabilities that drive productivity across both enterprise operations and customer-facing products.
  • Experience deploying large-scale project management systems and delivering digital solutions supporting GPMO (Global Program Management Office) processes.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system integration, and enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Experience leading or partnering on CPQ implementations, particularly for solutions involving integrated hardware and recurring software subscriptions.
  • Strong collaboration experience with connected product teams on software architecture reviews, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and network design.
  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms, cloud environments (Azure & AWS), and enterprise security implementations.
