Our Industrial/Manufacturing Regional Maintenance Managers (AMZL NJ/NY) strive to make the lives of our employees better daily, by constantly looking for ways to improve our processes. Throughout the day, a Regional Maintenance Manager is faced with a combination of strategic planning, operational oversight, team management, and stakeholder communication.

A typical day a Regional Maintenance Manager (RMM) in our clients facility managed by Cushman & Wakefield Services is dynamic and multifaceted. While specific tasks may vary based on the facility's needs and priorities, here is an overview of what a typical day might entail for an RMM:

  • Strategic Planning: Allocate time to review long-term maintenance plans, budgets, and performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize maintenance processes, increase equipment reliability, and reduce downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to assess safety hazards, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols. Address any safety concerns promptly and collaborate with the safety team to implement corrective measures.
  • Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to support maintenance operations effectively. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to procure necessary supplies and services as needed.

To be successful as a Regional Maintenance Manager in a facility managed by Cushman & Wakefield Services, the following skills and qualifications are typically required:

  • Candidates MUST have 7 years or more of leadership experience. Leadership is defined as having managed KPIs for technicians as well as experience holding others accountable for achieve set goals and KPIs. Previous experience in maintenance management or a similar leadership role is essential.   • Experience in manufacturing or Industrial maintenance - conveyors and robotics
  • The ability to analyze maintenance data, performance metrics, and equipment reliability trends is crucial for identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains. The RMM should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, develop action plans, and implement effective solution

The RMM should be capable of multitasking, adapting to changing circumstances, and managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Maintaining a customer-centric mindset is important for meeting the needs and expectations of Amazon, the client, and other stakeholders. The RMM should be responsive to feedback, proactive in addressing concerns, and dedicated to delivering high-quality maintenance services that support operational objectives.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 135,150.00 - $159,000.00
