One of our clients, medical devices and services company is looking for an enthusiastic Network Support Engineer.
** Must be authorized to work in US for ANY EMPLOYER.
   No H1 Visa support
 for this position.
The Location is Northern New Jersey, this is hybrid commute to work.
3 days from the office per week.

This role is responsible for troubleshooting network-related issues, supporting customer deployments, assisting with integrations, and collaborating with internal teams and customer IT departments to ensure reliable system performance.

Position Summary
Network Support Engineer I to join our Interoperability & Network Support team. This role is responsible for supporting enterprise network environments that enable the successful deployment and operation of companyโ€™s products and solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support. This position works closely with customers, field service personnel, engineering, IT, and other cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, support integration projects, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What You''''ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and support enterprise network infrastructure, including connectivity, routing, switching, performance, and availability issues
  • Evaluate network environments to ensure compatibility with company products and solutions
  • Assist customers and field personnel with technical support and network-related troubleshooting
  • Manage support cases, document findings, and drive issues through resolution
  • Support network technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, authentication services, and network management tools
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in integration and interoperability projects
  • Deliver knowledge-sharing and training sessions to internal teams
  • Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Operations, Quality, and external partners to support customer success


Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting enterprise network environments
  • Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking fundamentals
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, and switching
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise network environments
  • Familiarity with core network services such as DHCP, DNS, and NTP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment


Preferred

  • CCNA, Network+, or similar networking certifications
  • Experience with Cisco, Aruba, or similar enterprise networking technologies
  • Exposure to STP/RSTP, VLAN trunking, LACP, switch stacking, and redundant network connectivity
  • Familiarity with multicast networking concepts, including IGMP, IGMP Snooping, PIM, and related technologies
  • Experience with network monitoring and management platforms
  • Knowledge of network security concepts including segmentation, authentication, and access control lists (ACLs)
