Apex Systems is hiring an IT Project Manager for a large Healthcare client. You must have experience in project managing construction projects.
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (Partially Remote)
Role Overview
This role is for an individual contributor primarily responsible for executing a project plan for a construction initiative. The position involves serving as a liaison for internal customers, third-party vendors, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects of medium size or complexity, or components of a larger project.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including schedule and resource forecasts.
  • Manage project performance concerning time, budget, scope, and quality, providing input for costs and budget impact.
  • Manage project financials for medium-sized projects.
  • Monitor project risks with guidance from a more senior Project Manager and escalate when appropriate.
  • Manage project activities related to organizational change management, such as user adoption, implementation, and training plans.
  • Assemble internal or external resources, ensuring team member skills align with project demands.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes and policies.
  • Promote the project vision and objectives with the project team.
  • Pursue self-development and effective relationships by sharing information, listening to feedback, and adapting to change.
Required Qualifications
Education: A High School diploma is required.
Experience:
  • 4-5 years of Project Management experience.
  • IT Project Management experience related to construction is essential.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working with the implementation of project life cycle methodologies.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience managing project budgets.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's is preferred.
  • A PMP certification is preferred.
Work Environment
  • This role requires travel to various islands in Hawaii approximately 25% of the time.
