Job description

A3 Consulting LLC is in need of an onsite Project Manager to support the Program Management Office (PMO) operation at an existing Federal client. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the team to support the goals of the program and its clients. Key responsibilities include the following: Assist in evaluating and enhancing IT project management processes and templates Provide support and oversight to project sponsors and managers in managing their projects Ensure that projects are managed effectively and consistently throughout the systems lifecycle Develop and/or enhance a project management and systems development life cycle Develop and/or modify templates for project management documents Provide advice and support to Project sponsors and managers Develop and implement project management training programs Perform periodic analysis and reporting on the status of IT project management Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar At least 10 years of experience in system/software solution development and delivery Strong written and oral communication skills Experience leading a team to deliver solutions Proven comprehension of technology and ability to speak and understand in technical terms Experience working in Scrum or Agile environments Ability to apply project management knowledge to real world scenarios Desired Skills: Experience working in around Federal Government and working knowledge of contracting, funding, etc.

Active PMP Certification Experience in application development, systems administration/engineering or other technical discipline Active TS Clearance Security Clearance: Must have an active US Government Top Secret Clearance W-2 employees are preferred, but we will also consider 1099 or C2C.
