Job purpose
The Regional IT Senior Manager is accountable for the end-to-end execution of IT services, capabilities, and digital initiatives across all sites within the assigned region. The role ensures alignment with global and BU-level IT strategy, drives business value through technology, assures compliance with IT and cybersecurity standards, and leads the regional IT workforce.
The position acts as the primary interface between regional business leadership and enterprise IT, ensuring that business priorities, plant and tech center requirements, and enterprise IT standards converge effectively
Reports solid line to the VP IT of DMS and dotted line to the VPGM Americas. Member of the global DMS IT leadership and DMS Americas Leadership team.
Key responsibilities
1. Business Partnership, Governance and Business Alignment
• Partner with regional business leadership to represent the full scope of IT services, drive transparency, align objectives, and support organizational change management (OCM).
• Shape business demand, identify opportunities to drive productivity, efficiency, and digital value creation through enterprise platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Develop, align, and execute regional IT roadmaps that support business objectives and align with enterprise service strategies.
• Ensure clear communication of IT priorities, service performance, risks, and improvement plans.
  • Ensure regional adherence to global standards, architecture principles, and IT governance expectations.
  • Support the regional plants (RU's) in removing roadblocks and/or accelerating IT tools for productivity, safety, quality and/or security

2. Manufacturing IT / OT & Cybersecurity
  • Oversee IT/OT integration, ensuring governance and alignment for systems including IIOT, MES, SCADA, PLC connectivity, IIoT platforms, data pipelines, and plant level-level automation.
  • Strengthening IT/OT cybersecurity posture in partnership with global security teams, including asset visibility, segmentation, vulnerability remediation, and change controls.
  • Ensure business continuity plans (BCP), disaster recovery (DR) readiness, and resilience planning are fully implemented and validated across the region.

3. Digital Transformation & Technology Adoption
  • Lead by example with the use and application of A.I. to drive productivity in IT and share/coach the regional functional leaders and plant managers to do the same. Drive the region to be a benchmark in how to effective leverage and apply A.I. tools
  • Lead digital adoption efforts, guide sites and business leaders through new technologies, processes, and digital behaviors.
  • Provide regional input to global IT capability planning processes and participate in operating model decision forums.
  • Coordinate multi-site execution of digital initiatives, including IIoT, analytics, automation, and enterprise platform deployments.
  • Remove adoption barriers, escalate risks early, and promote best practices and reuse across sites.

4. IT Operation, Performance & Escalation Management
  • Drive alignment and performance of IT operations at the region to meet business expectations in partnership with service excellence teams representing enterprise-wide IT services
  • Act as the regional escalation point for IT service issues, ensuring timely resolution and structured root cause elimination in alignment with service level agreements. -cause elimination
  • Participate in recurring service performance reviews with plant and business leadership, ensuring service level agreement and KPI adherence and driving continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational compliance, audit readiness, data protection, business continuity planning, and enforcement of IT/OT policies and standards.

5. Regional Project & Portfolio Management
  • Own the regional IT project portfolio, ensuring prioritization, resourcing, sequencing, risk management, and alignment with PMO and global IT teams.
  • Coordinate execution of multi-site projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and minimal disruption to plant operations.
  • Ensure transparency on progress, dependencies, risks, and business impact.

6. Talent Leadership & Capability Development
  • Lead, inspire, and develop Site IT Managers and regional IT teams, ensuring capabilities in IT operations, IT/OT integration, cybersecurity, and digital technologies.
  • Foster communities of expertise, mentorship, skill-building, and continuous learning.
  • Promote collaboration and a mindset of service excellence, continuous improvement, and problem-solving.
7. IT Financial management
  • Lead and own regional IT investment, budgeting, and forecasting, balancing strategic impact, cost, risk, and lifecycle requirements.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 8+ years of experience in multi-site or regional IT leadership within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong experience in IT service delivery, IT/OT convergence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and supplier management capabilities.
