Job Summary:
DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking an IT Program Manager for an opportunity with a client in the healthcare insurance industry. This senior-level role requires deep experience in project and program management methodologies to deliver large-scale IT projects within an established PMO.
Responsibilities:
• Lead large, complex, enterprise-scale programs and projects involving multiple Project Managers, application teams, and technical leads
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, deliverables, risks, quality, dependencies, and change control across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, teams, and external vendors with significant cross-functional dependencies
• Oversee multi-stream programs with both directly and indirectly managed projects within the PMO
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and testing teams across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Develop and deliver comprehensive status reporting, program governance updates, and executive-level briefings
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be proficient with Windows-based applications, including: MS Project (required), Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint Online, Teams
• 7 years of IT experience in a Project/Program Management capacity
• 4+ years leading multiple concurrent projects and project teams as a Program Manager
• Proven experience applying structured PMO methodologies, governance frameworks, stage gates, and documentation standards (e.g., waterfall, hybrid)
• Strong ability to communicate and present effectively to executive leadership, clearly articulating technical work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in enterprise environments with significant cross-functional coordination
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree; OR, Associates degree plus 2 years of work-related experience; OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
