Job description

Position Summary:

The IT Administrative and Assistant's role is to provide administrative support for the IT Department Director and IT staff as assigned. Responsibilities include meeting scheduling with minutes, monitoring and tracking IT budgets and maintaining the IT contracts database. This person will also take Service Desk calls, enter service requests, respond to minor issues and perform minor desktop setups. In addition, this person will provide backup equipment coordination support to the DME department.

Location: 3425 S Clarkson St, Englewood, CO 80113

Shift:ย Days; Monday - Friday 8 am-4:30 pm MST

Compensation: $20.56โ€“$29.61/hour

Position Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • College degree relevant field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of three to five (3 to 5) years administrative experience required
    • A minimum one (1) year of prior PC related experience with Microsoft Windows operating system support required
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • aaaaaaaExcellent organization and customer service skills. Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities, prioritize appropriately and manage frequent interruptions. Must be able to successfully and effectively communicate with a variety of personnel. Must have the ability to handle highly confidential information. Requires the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups, the ability to work independently with limited supervision. The ability to efficiently document and track technical support issues with a working knowledge of Windows. The ability to train end-users on practices that help to avoid technical support issues. The ability to work independently, organize time effectively, manage multiple projects efficiently, meet project timelines, coordinate and work with others. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PPT and Publisher) required.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform general office duties such as typing, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, faxing, etc.
  • Coordinate materials for meetings and training sessions and other activities within the IT Department.
  • Schedule and provide support for meetings as needed (e.g., sending meeting/clinic notifications, scheduling conference rooms, coordinating food, logistics, etc.)
  • Assist in resolving administrative issues by preparing reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Coordinate and maintain IT Director's calendar and provide minutes for committee meetings.
  • Track IT budget expenditures and assist with building annual IT Budgets.
  • Maintain IT department contracts database and ensure annual renewals are completed on schedule.
  • Provide backup support to the Service Desk. When requested provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution services to computer and telephone end-users.
