Position Overview

We're looking for a strategic, forwardthinking leader to oversee the development, enhancement, and longterm stewardship of our enterprisewide database and data integration ecosystem. In this role, you'll shape the organization's data strategy, lead a highperforming technical team, and ensure our data platforms evolve to meet the needs of a modern, growing utility.

In this role, you will:
  • Define and execute corporate databases and data integration strategies.
  • Oversee the planning, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprisewide database technologies, including data warehousing, database management systems, middleware, and integration platforms.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the data warehouse; ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to longterm technology roadmaps and annual IT planning, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and operational priorities.
  • Support annual IT planning by assessing technical feasibility and aligning initiatives with enterprise priorities.
  • Coordinate complex system integration efforts across multiple platforms.
  • Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors and consultants.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Data Integration specialists, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development.
What it takes:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8-12 years of IT experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 4-7 years of experience with database technologies or enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, integration, and database design.
  • Understanding of large enterprise systems, IT governance, and solution architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage external service providers.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
