Project Manager, IT Infrastructure (Zero Trust & Network Security)

 Job Description:

Overview: 

As the Senior Project Manager, IT Infrastructure (Zero Trust & Network Security), you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex global infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives that support client''''s network security modernization strategy.

In this role, you will partner closely with IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Application Teams, Vendors, and Business Stakeholders to drive large-scale projects from initiation through deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while effectively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of project management expertise, leadership skills, and technology acumen, with experience leading enterprise-scale infrastructure or security transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

Lead the delivery of large-scale network security, Zero Trust, infrastructure modernization, and cloud connectivity initiatives.

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and implementation roadmaps.

Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures to ensure execution transparency and accountability.

Manage all phases of the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and business units.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with infrastructure, security, networking, architecture, and business leaders to align project outcomes with organizational goals.

Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive status reviews.

Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Build strong working relationships across technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful adoption of project deliverables.

Financial & Resource Management

Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

Track project expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Coordinate internal and external resources, including contract personnel and managed service providers.

Assist leadership in resource planning and prioritization across multiple initiatives.

Risk & Dependency Management

Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues.

Manage project scope and change control processes.

Monitor inter-project dependencies and coordinate delivery activities across multiple teams.

Ensure project decisions are documented and communicated appropriately.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

Collaborate with strategic technology partners including Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, cloud providers, and systems integrators.

Coordinate vendor deliverables and project milestones.

Monitor vendor performance and support contract governance activities.

Delivery & Operational Readiness

Ensure operational readiness plans are completed before production deployments.

Coordinate testing, validation, change management, and production cutover activities.

Partner with support and operations teams to facilitate successful transitions into steady-state operations.

Drive lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement activities following project completion.

Experience working with Infrastructure projects and 3M team

Skills:    

Your Skills and Expertise :

To set you up for success in this role from day one,client requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Seven (7) years or more of project or program management experience leading enterprise IT initiatives.

Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, cloud, or digital transformation projects.

Demonstrated experience managing project budgets exceeding (USD)1M.

Experience coordinating cross-functional global teams and vendors.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.

Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 Experience supporting Zero Trust, cybersecurity transformation, or network modernization initiatives.

Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, SD-WAN, cloud networking, or enterprise security technologies.

Experience working within client IT team is preferable

Experience leading global programs across multiple regions and time zones.

Knowledge of financial forecasting and portfolio management processes.

Education:          

BA and/or Master''''s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

PgMP, Agile, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications.
