Job Summary:
Natural Gas Services Group (NYSE: NGS) is a dynamic, growth-driven company at the forefront of energy solutions. They are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager responsible for leading the design, delivery, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure and end-user services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems supporting field service operations and corporate functions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms (Azure), and storage environments
• Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of systems supporting IFS ERP Cloud and field service applications
• Oversee monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Manage endpoint infrastructure including laptops, mobile devices, and field technician equipment
• Lead rollout and governance of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
• PC/Laptop support, refresh and standardization initiatives
• Lead a hybrid MSP model providing 24/7 Tier 1–3 support for infrastructure and applications
• Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics
• Drive continuous improvement of IT support processes and user experience
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes
• Manage IT Security to enforce cybersecurity policies, endpoint protection, and identity management
• Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
• Manage vulnerability remediation and system hardening initiatives
• Support audits, cybersecurity insurance requirements, and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with business to support Workday, IFS Cloud ERP infrastructure needs
• Ensure integration reliability between ERP, data warehouse, and operational systems
• Support system performance tuning and environment management (UAT, PROD, etc.)
• Manage relationships with external vendors, MSPs, and service providers
• Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure cost-effective service delivery
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure and support experience
• Experience managing hybrid IT environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure / cloud infrastructure, network and systems administration, endpoint management and MDM solutions, ITSM tools and service delivery frameworks (ITIL preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to balance operational stability with innovation
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
• Vendor and contract management expertise
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• The ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
• Employment for this role is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR check in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
Preferred:
• Experience in oil & gas or field service-based organizations
• Familiarity with IFS ERP Cloud or similar enterprise ERP systems
