Job description

Company Overview

Allbridge is the leading supplier of world-class connected technology solutions, services, and support for high-density properties. With more than 35 years of continuous growth and industry experience, Allbridge supports technology in over one million rooms across 8,000 properties in North America and the Caribbean — including hotels, resorts, senior-living communities, condominiums, multifamily developments, and mixed-use properties.

Position Summary

The IT Infrastructure Manager leads Allbridge's internal technology operations, overseeing a modern, cloud-first environment built on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and AWS. This role is responsible for the stability, security, and continuous improvement of all internal IT systems and directly manages the IT Cloud Administrator and the Service Desk Engineer. The IT Infrastructure Manager serves as the senior technical authority for internal IT, drives SOC 2 Type II compliance, and ensures that infrastructure strategy aligns with Allbridge's business objectives and growth plans. This role will have two direct reports.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Directly manage the IT Cloud Administrator and Service Desk Engineer — providing direction, mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Establish and maintain team standards, on-call rotations, escalation paths, and SLA commitments.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or high-priority issues raised by direct reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Security to align IT services with business objectives.

Strategic Planning & Technology Governance

  • Own the internal IT roadmap, translating business requirements into infrastructure and tooling decisions with documented justification.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and lead adoption of new technologies, platforms, and vendors with a focus on cost-effectiveness and security posture.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, software licenses, and asset lifecycle (hardware, SaaS, and cloud resources).
  • Administer the IT ticketing and endpoint management platform (EndPoint Central); monitor team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Security & SOC 2 Compliance

  • Serve as the internal IT owner for SOC 2 Type II compliance — coordinating evidence collection, control testing, and remediation across the team.
  • Maintain and update the Allbridge SOC 2 Security Policy & Procedure documentation in partnership with the compliance team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for information security incidents: triage, investigate, communicate, remediate, and conduct post-incident reviews.
  • Oversee identity and access management (IAM) policies across Entra ID, Intune, and AWS, enforcing least-privilege and MFA requirements.
  • Ensure endpoint security, patch management, and vulnerability remediation programs meet SOC 2 control requirements.

Infrastructure Operations

  • Maintain operational health of Allbridge's cloud-first internal environment: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, EndPoint Central, AWS internal workloads, and the six legacy Windows servers at the Raleigh, NC site.
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans; validate through scheduled testing and maintain recovery runbooks.
  • Ensure monitoring and alerting coverage for all internal systems using Auvik, CloudWatch, and M365 security portals.
  • Provide governance oversight for FortiGate/FortiManager network infrastructure managed by the Cloud Administrator.
  • Manage network equipment, structured cabling, and AV systems at the Raleigh, NC office as needed.

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Champion automation using PowerShell to streamline user provisioning, device management, and compliance reporting.
  • Drive standardization of runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles across the IT team.
  • Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive processes to improve team efficiency and reduce error rates.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel occasionally to support project or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field preferred; in lieu of degree, require 10 years of equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
  • Demonstrated expertise administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune in an enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, S3) for internal or hybrid workloads.
  • Solid networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls (FortiGate a plus).
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments and managing AD/Entra ID transitions.
  • Hands-on experience with SOC 2 compliance programs (Type I or II); familiarity with NIST CSF and/or PCI DSS.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and administration.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300, or equivalent).
  • Experience with ManageEngine EndPoint Central or comparable endpoint management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Auvik network monitoring and FortiManager.
  • Hospitality, MDU, or high-density property technology experience.
