Anthony’s Restaurants is looking for a high energy dedicated and passionate team member to join our family. We are deeply committed to growing and developing our team and restaurants.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic IT Director to play a hands-on role in all aspects of IT, information systems, and telecommunications for our restaurant company. The IT Director will be responsible for the maintenance, development, implementation, and management of technology systems that support our restaurant operations, ensuring seamless communication, operational efficiency, and data security across all locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, experience in the hospitality/retail industry, and the ability to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute an IT roadmap aligned with business growth, with systems integration, data integrity, systems security and reliability, and AI as core strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with executives, operations, finance, and restaurant management to identify technology gaps and recommend solutions that unify workflows and improve profitability.
  • Manage IT projects, vendor relationships, and consultants, keeping initiatives on scope, on time, and on budget.

Systems & Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems, including POS systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other operational software.
  • Ensure that all restaurant locations, wholesale distribution center, and home office are equipped with reliable, secure, and scalable technology systems, with minimal downtime.
  • Manage and maintain data backup, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols to protect sensitive information, including customer and employee data.
  • Manage, develop, and suggest usage and policies around AI.

Restaurant Support:

  • Respond to and manage all service requests from restaurant locations, home office, and wholesale distribution center.
  • Provide IT training and support to restaurant staff and other departments, ensuring a high level of system adoption and proficiency across all locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technology-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption to operations.

Technology Innovation:

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in the restaurant and hospitality industry, and evaluate opportunities for integration to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
  • Present, suggest, and lead projects involving the adoption of new technologies.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all industry standards, regulatory requirements (such as PCI-DSS for payment card processing), and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Develop and enforce policies for data protection, information security, and user access management.

Team, Vendor & Budget Management:

  • Supervise, manage, teach, and collaborate with in-house Systems Administrator.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring that contracts are aligned with the company’s needs, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, allocating resources effectively for hardware, software, and personnel.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Participation in industry / IT professional groups a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in network infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Technology Experience (preferred but not required):

  • SQL, M365 Suite, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, Veeam Back Up Solutions, Cisco Meraki, VLAN, Cloud-based POS, Wi-Fi, VoIP, Sophos, SD-WAN, Nagios, iLO, A/V systems, as well as legacy services such as fire/burglar alarm systems, CCTV.

Hours and Days of Work:

  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; situations may arise that require IT support outside of normal business hours.
  • Ability to travel to locations as needed
