Position Title: Director of IT Service Delivery
Contract Duration: Direct Hire
Work Location: Hampton, VA
Employment: Onsite (100%)
We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Director of IT Service Delivery to lead end-user technology services and support operations for a client in Hampton! This role oversees help desk services, desktop support, technology asset management, software licensing, print services, and IT governance initiatives while ensuring an exceptional technology experience for employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT Service Desk and end-user support operations.
  • Manage desktop deployment, technology asset lifecycle, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and track KPIs and service metrics to drive operational excellence.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify technology needs and improve service delivery.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes and organizational technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on governance, communications, and strategic projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in IT Service Delivery, End User Services, or Client Services.
  • Experience managing IT support teams and service operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management, asset management, and customer support best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in higher education or other complex enterprise environments.
