Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist provides day-to-day technical support across the organization, ensuring all employees have the tools and access needed to perform their jobs effectively. This role is responsible for managing IT equipment, user accounts, and basic network access, as well as troubleshooting technical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Set up, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, and other IT equipment for new hires and existing employees

· Create and manage company email accounts and user access (network, systems, permissions)

· Track and maintain accurate records of IT assets (laptops, monitors, printers, licenses, etc.)

· Assign and reassign equipment to employees and maintain inventory control

· Provide day-to-day technical support to office and production staff (login issues, access issues, hardware troubleshooting)

· Manage and support printers, scanners, and other office equipment

· Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate more complex problems as needed

· Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective (equipment setup, account creation/deactivation)

· Maintain documentation of IT processes, equipment, and user access

· Respond to employee questions regarding systems, access, and general IT support needs

· Support multiple departments with basic technical and administrative IT-related tasks

· Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset by supporting cross-functional needs and assisting with duties outside of core responsibilities, as required to meet business needs

Qualifications

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· 1–3 years of IT support, help desk, or similar experience preferred

· Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and network access

· Experience with Microsoft Office, email systems, and user account management

· Strong organizational skills with ability to track equipment and maintain accurate records

· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset

· Team player with flexibility to adapt and support evolving operational needs
