Position Summary Under general supervision, performs a variety of professional and technical duties in the analysis, configuration, testing, administration, and support of Court applications and systems. Supports websites and web-based content updates, performs functional troubleshooting, assists with application configuration, and participates in routine upgrades and maintenance. Supports workflow changes and business process documentation under direction.

Coordinates with vendors and senior technical staff to escalate complex issues and ensure reliable system performance. Performs related duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED Receives directions from assigned supervisory or management personnel and functional direction from senior personnel.

This position does not exercise direct supervision over other staff. Class Characteristics: This is the entry-level or journey-level classification. Incumbents learn the Court's application environment, systems, and operational procedures.

As experience is gained, assignments become more varied and complex, and incumbents work more independently within established guidelines. This class is distinguished from the Senior Information Technology Analyst by the latter's responsibility for advanced application configuration, workflow redesign, functional leadership, vendor coordination, and serving as a technical escalation point. Typical Duties Management reserves the right to add, modify, change, or rescind the work assignments of different positions and to make reasonable accommodations so that qualified employees can perform the essential functions of the job.

Provides support for business applications and systems by triaging requests, identifying root causes of routine issues, and resolving or escalating them as appropriate. Qualifications Education and Experience: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree with major coursework in information technology, computer science, management information systems, or a related field and three (3) years of information systems technical support experience.

Knowledge of: Working knowledge of application support, configuration management, and testing procedures. Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS), website maintenance, and accessibility best practices. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and related low-code automation tools.

Foundational troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-resolution skills. Ability to: Configure applications following established procedures and validate them to ensure they meet business and technical requirements. Collaborate with developers, business analysts and end users during testing activities and document results.

Update website content with approved tools and ensure they maintain court's branding and style guidelines. Escalate complex issues appropriately. Develop user guides, procedures, knowledge base articles, reports etc.

Licenses and Certifications: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and the ability to maintain compliance with the Court's vehicle insurance policy, or the ability to provide alternate transportation that meets job requirements, as needed.
