Job description

IT Asset Management Consultant
San Antonio, TX (Onsite Role)
Essential Functions: Coordinate receipt and process IT asset tag requests for purchase order receiving, related to multi-state customers. Ensure assigned IT asset tag(s) are affixed to IT assets during the receiving process & prepare IT assets for delivery and maintain the ServiceNow IT Asset Management Module to ensure appropriate IT asset record creation during the receipt process. Maintains IT asset records in ServiceNow. Maintains digital and physical IT asset management files for record retention. Maintains database records of various types of IT asset transactions.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from a high school or equivalent
• Skill in providing good customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Lifting 50 lbs unassisted
• Works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to transfer inventory stock from one location to another
• Ability to review asset management operations for compliance.
• Ability to follow prescribed inventory control standards.
• Skill in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite software
Ideally, the candidate would have warehousing experience and possibly some tech in their background.
This job will require 100% onsite work in the Warehouse located at our Oaks 4 location.
The team consists of one Asset Manager over the entire team, one Hardware Asset Manager, one Software Asset Manager, and 4-5 other Asset Management Specialists working in the same receiving/warehouse location.
