Cloquet is currently looking for an ISO Coordinator with a focus on ISO systems management and continuous improvement. This position is for an individual who can become proficient with mill data systems, working closely with a variety of functional groups within the organization to ensure compliance with ISO system requirements. The successful candidate will interface with operations and customers, ensuring product quality concerns are addressed, and performance attributes are attained.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead ISO Compliance & Certification
  • Maintain and update Integrated System Manuals, SOPs, and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance for the following ISO systems in Cloquet:
    • Health and Safety (ISO 45001)
    • Environmental (ISO 14001)
    • Quality Paper Business (ISO 9001)
    • Quality Dissolving Pulp (ISO 9001)
  • Coordinate Audits & Training
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, manage audit schedules, and provide training for auditors and mill staff.
  • Collaborate across Teams
  • Communicate changes in standards to leadership and guide departments through transitions and corrective actions.
  • Support Paper Business Quality Positions
  • Provide support to the Paper Product Quality Manager and Quality Assurance positions.
  • Support other Safety, Sustainability, and Forestry Certification Systems

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience managing compliance standards and quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal direction.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications
These qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and strengthen a candidate's profile:
  • Practical experience interpreting and implementing ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification.
  • Paper & Pulp industry experience.
