Description

Maxxima is a growing LED lighting and electrical supply company serving consumer and heavy-duty transportation markets. With over 40 years in business and a portfolio of 1,300+ SKUs, we are focused on delivering high-quality, compliant products as we continue to expand. 


We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Specialist to take ownership of our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). This role is critical to maintaining certification, leading audits, and ensuring ongoing compliance across the organization. 


The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within an ISO-certified environment and can step in immediately to manage and enhance an active QMS while developing, implementing, and maintaining a fully integrated management system. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required, as all systems, including CTPAT, are aligned with the ISO 9001 framework. Experience with TISAX, including integration and certification activities, is preferred. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and improve our ISO 9001 QMS processes and document control 
  • Lead internal, external, and supplier audits 
  • Own CAPA processes and root cause analysis 
  • Track and report quality KPIs to leadership 
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams 
  • Ensure compliance with product and regulatory standards (UL, ETL, DOT, C-TPAT) 
  • Support continuous improvement of quality systems 
  • Train employees on quality and compliance processes  

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)  
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Systems experience 
  • Strong ISO 9001 experience required, including maintaining an active ISO-certified QMS 
  • Experience leading internal, external, or supplier audits 
  • Strong knowledge of CAPA, root cause analysis, and document control 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, or product-based industries 

Preferred: 

  • ISO Management Representative experience  
  • Experience supporting or leading TISAX integration and certification activities 
  • Familiarity with UL, ETL, DOT, or similar regulatory standards  
  • Lead Auditor certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, TISAX) 
  • Experience with QT9 QMS
