The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:

  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, handling a high volume of inquiries and requests (via phone, email, donor management system, and web), ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle escalated matters with calls and emails with donors.
  • Resolve donor issues by troubleshooting and providing solutions for complex donation situations, sending IRS tax-deductible receipts, and granting online account access.
  • Create and process service requests for handling a variety of issues related to contributions.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and make updates as needed based on donor or staff instructions.
  • Ensure compliance of data integrity within the donor system by applying standards for donor record-keeping and information sharing.
  • Maintain detailed records by tracking donor interactions, creating service requests, and ensuring accurate updates to donation records and accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with donors and staff by crafting and revising written correspondence for complex requests and providing updates.
  • Maintain daily statistical volume reports, track phone, email, and mail counts, and ensure error rates are within acceptable limits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper processing of donations, transfer of funds, and handling of any issues that arise across teams.
  • Create and manage designation accounts by collaborating with other ministries to determine how donations should be processed (i.e., fees assessed, chartfield usage, etc.)
