We are searching for a Structural Joist and Deck Project Manager that can manage a project from structural drawings to material delivery. This role will require someone who can solve customer problems, identify schedule or project deficiencies, and collaborate with vendors to deliver the best results. This position is in-person located in our Salt Lake City, Utah office or our Jacksonville, Arkansas Office.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Job
  • Documentation and Construction Schedule Review: Review, understand, and coordinate all project requirements and production/delivery schedules with vendors, customers, and to the appropriate internal departments as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate with customers and vendors and document any schedule, material and/or cost impact to our scope of work. Communicate any revisions requiring a change to our scope with appropriate internal departments.
  • Change Order Management: Review internal scope change documentation, request pricing from vendors, and generating change orders as needed. Obtain proper approval before issuing change orders, follow up on approval requests, and notifying all appropriate parties once approval has been obtained to incorporate the changes into our scope.
  • Billing Projections: Update Accounts Receivable monthly with projected invoice amounts based on coordinated delivery schedules.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with joist and deck or steel construction or Project management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Bluebeam, Procore and other cloud-based apps., Smartsheet, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relations skills.
