What is Campspot?

Campspot is a reservation management software designed specifically for campgrounds, RV parks, and other outdoor hospitality businesses. It streamlines the booking process for both customers and property owners, offering real-time availability, online reservations, and payment processing. Campspot also provides tools for managing rates, guest communications, and reporting, making it easier for campground operators to run their business efficiently. The platform aims to enhance the guest experience while optimizing occupancy and revenue for property owners.

What are the typical responsibilities of a Campspot customer support specialist, and how do they collaborate with other teams?

As a Campspot Customer Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities include assisting customers with reservation inquiries, troubleshooting platform issues, and providing guidance on using Campspot's features. You’ll collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and report technical problems. Additionally, you'll work with the sales and onboarding teams to ensure that new campground partners have a smooth experience integrating with the platform. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential in this collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Campspot software engineer, and why are they important?

Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control systems like Git, and frameworks such as React or Node.js is typically required.
