Job description

Last year our HCA Healthcare colleagues invested over 156,000 hours volunteering in our communities. As a(an) CT Tech Invision Imaging with North Florida Outpatient Imaging Center you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing CT for diagnostic procedures and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

All employees of North Florida Regional Medical Center will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • ARRT Registration RT (R); Advanced level certification in CT is preferred
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • No experience required; 6 months preferred
