Job Description

As a Market Leader, you will build long-standing, positive relationships with intermediary clients that improve long-term holdings of Invesco products and services. Serving as the face of Invesco, you will be an integral part of fostering the client journey with a consultative, client first approach, to identify needs and get results.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing differentiated client relationships with high end RIAs in AZ, NM, CO, UT, IA, NE, WY, MT, OR, WA, AK . These relationships include both existing and new ones that maximize Invesco wallet share through sales growth, asset retention, and growing the Invesco brand within the territory

  • Approach all interactions as a consultant, starting with client needs and optimally using internal resources needed to meet those needs, including delivering insight-based education, mentoring, and portfolio construction consultations

  • Develop and complete a data-driven client segmentation strategy

  • Deliver product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via telephone, WebEx, office visits, cluster meetings, seminars, and conferences

  • Build and implement strategic travel rotation to cover smaller boutique firms across the country and clients in non-metropolitan areas

  • Partner with the Division Sales Manager to create and implement a territory sales plan which is aligned with the overarching division plan

The experience you bring:

  • Series 7 and 63 required

  • CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus

  • Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Five or more years of sales experience in marketing investment products to financial advisors

  • Technical investment expertise including outstanding knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors

  • Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on meeting needs coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills

  • A digital and data-driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience

  • A growth mindset with a business-owner mentality

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $110,000 - $120,000 Base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location"
