Summary
MMCP Pharmacy is expanding our pharmacy team with 2 new entry level Pharmacy Technician I positions dedicated to inventory support. These roles will focus heavily on the physical and logistical aspects of medication supply management. Team members in this position will be responsible for:
  • Unpacking and receiving daily distributor orders
  • Lifting, moving, and organizing medication totes and supplies
  • Stocking and maintaining inventory in multiple pharmacy locations
  • Completing routine cycle counts and removing outdated products
  • Supporting Pyxis replenishment workflows
  • Assisting the pharmacy buyer with day-to-day inventory operations

Working in a supportive role under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician - Acute Care role performs a variety of duties relating to medication preparation, storage, distribution, disposition, and related clerical tasks.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Associate's Degree preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. CPhT or PTCB certificate preferred.
3. Experience: Experience as a pharmacy technician or other healthcare related position preferred.
