POSITION TITLE: Inventory Control Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Warehouse
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
General Summary:
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts and locations for all stock items, ensuring timely completion of transfers and issues. Inventory accuracy is maintained at 98%.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Transfer stock from finished goods locations to shipping.
  • Move received goods and returns to designated stocking areas.
  • Provide feedback on transfer reports, correcting location errors when necessary.
  • Generate, perform, and update daily inventory cycle counts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for significant inventory discrepancies.
  • Report cycle count results and major discrepancies.
  • Assist in leading the company's year-end physical inventory.
  • Regularly review and resolve negative inventory discrepancies on a daily basis.
  • Review staged inventory in shipping at least once a week.
  • Perform daily reviews of inventory in Receiving.
  • Inspect inventory in other locations upon department requests.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of bills of material and routing processes.
  • Familiar with ABC cycle counting methodologies.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including MRP software.
  • Skilled in internet and email communication.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up abilities.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience:
Must have relevant experience or education that aligns with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Able to meet the physical demands necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
