Inventory Management Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transact finished goods within the MRP system accurately and timely
  • Manage raw material receiving and inventories
  • Locate, retrieve and stock materials in a safe manner in accordance to storage and handling requirements.
  • Participate in cycle counting
  • Recognize, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Effectively and immediately communicate any complications that arise and then be able to work with cross functional teams to establish and maintain a solution.
  • Ability to function with minimal oversight
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Follow specific procedures and repetitive processes accurately and rapidly with minimal errors
  • Maintain integrity of inventory to revision, lot and expiration.
  • Maintain knowledge of the work performed in the department and learn how to perform multiple functions within the department.
  • Meet all quality expectations for the role.
  • Ability to support and help others in different departments showing cooperation and teamwork.
  • Demonstrate an increasing level of independence in daily work tasks
  • Manages time well
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This role will require an individual who demonstrates a proactive mindset to manage multiple tasks and drive them to completion in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an inventory-based function.
  • Excellent computer skills, with ERP system experience and MS Office experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Can quickly learn and apply new skills, processes, and approaches.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written English) and can effectively document their work.
  • Exhibit a high degree of flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to lift and handle packages weighing 35 lbs.
