Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $25.00~ per hour

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Expeditor to support our Purchasing Manager in coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery of materials critical to production operations.

Position Summary

The Purchasing Expeditor plays a key role in supporting the purchasing process by monitoring supplier performance, expediting critical purchase orders, assisting with inventory management, and helping maintain efficient material flow throughout the organization. This position offers exposure to multiple areas of manufacturing operations and provides cross-training opportunities in receiving and kitting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expedite high-priority purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials.

  • Generate and review overdue purchase order reports and follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and delays.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts under the direction of the Purchasing Manager.

  • Maintain and update kitting inventory and wire "short shelf" inventory.

  • Research products, pricing, and specifications through vendors, catalogs, and online resources.

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve vendor invoice discrepancies, shortages, returns, and pricing issues.

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and purchasing-related statistics using computer software.

  • Monitor and order office supplies and janitorial products as needed.

  • Assist with other manufacturing and operational tasks as assigned.

  • Participate in cross-training for Receiving and Kitting functions and provide backup support when necessary.

Education & Experience Required

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
