Job description

Warehouse Fulfillment & Shipping Specialist

This is a full time position from Congers New York. Hours are 2:00PM - 10:30PM, Monday through Friday. Hourly rate for this position is $19 per hour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Fulfillment & Pick/Pack

  • Pick parcel and pallet orders accurately and efficiently, preparing them for dispatch
  • Pack outbound orders to company standards, ensuring product protection and labeling accuracy
  • Utilize WMS and RF scanners to confirm picks and maintain order integrity

Outbound Logistics & Shipping

  • Prepare outbound shipments including labeling packages and generating shipping documentation
  • Load fleet vans and trailers safely, organizing freight by route, size, and delivery priority
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Assist with route creation and optimization using routing software

Equipment Operation

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and stage outbound freight
  • Maintain equipment in safe operating condition and report any issues promptly

Quality Control

  • Verify that all outbound orders are accurate, complete, and meet PowerPak quality standards before shipment
  • Inspect packaging for damage and ensure proper handling of all product types

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience required
  • Forklift experience or certification required (sit-down counterbalance; reach truck a plus)
  • Experience loading trailers and fleet vans with mixed freight
  • WMS and RF scanner experience required
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Routing software experience (building and managing delivery routes)
  • Proficient with computers and basic office tools (Excel, email, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Must meet all qualifications listed above to be considered for this position

  • Proven experience as an order picker or in a comparable warehouse role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Diligent, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
