Job description

This position will be key to the success of the Kroger Supply Chain team by providing analytics and support to drive continuous improvement in service, OTIF (on time and in full metrics), cost and inventory metrics. The position will provide the right candidate with customer supply chain experience supporting one of KHC's largest warehouse delivered customers, along with opportunities to work across KHC's Supply Chain functions (Warehousing, Transportation, Demand Planning, Supply, and Customer Service) and Sales. This position is a customer-facing role and will be onsite at KHC's sales office as well as with Kroger working directly with key contacts from Kroger's Replenishment Planning and Distribution organization utilizing Kroger systems.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Generate and manage vendor purchase orders utilizing Kroger replenishment software
• Manage to core KPIs; upstream out of stocks, distribution center days of supply, service level, on time delivery and aged inventory, DC inventory levels, and store in stock position
• Serve as central point of contact to ensure continual connectivity and high levels of execution between Kroger and supplier
• Enable vendor on-time delivery performance including managing DC inbound capacity and management of PO delivery scheduling utilizing Kroger and supplier supply chain tools • Manage master supply chain data within Kroger and supplier systems to ensure truckload optimization and supply chain efficiencies
• Leverage reporting tools to assess internal network supply disruption and projected recovery for communication to the customer
• Audit ordering patterns to identify opportunities to improve warehouse in stocks, operational efficiencies and reduce cost-to-serve
• Drive cross functional alignment between Sales, Demand Planning and Supply to support new item fulfillment execution and item discontinuations for shelving resets
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Supply Chain Management or related field
• 1-5 years of education and related experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, transportation or supply/operations planning
• Ability to build strong interpersonal internal and external relationships
• Requires strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (oral, written, presentation)
• Advanced proficiency in utilizing analytics tools (SAP, Power BI, Oracle)
• Process Management/Improvement mindset required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$77,800.00 - $97,300.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
