Kemin is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Associate for our Missouri campus!

Our Missouri campus consists of operations in both Verona and Sarcoxie and was

The primary location for this position is in Sarcoxie, Missouri.

Responsibilities
  • Review batch records and bring variances forward, as applicable.
  • Must follow all procedures and SOPs/forms and assist with updates.
  • Must maintain proper quality documentation.
  • Support Change Management process as necessary.
  • Participate in internal audits, as necessary.
  • Facilitate GMP audits, as applicable.
  • Trained on external audit process and support, as necessary.
  • Coordinate Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, as applicable.
  • May collect samples, prepare shipments and inspect raw materials and finished goods.
  • May perform raw material, finished goods, and packaging release, with supervision, as applicable.
  • Daily data entry as applicable.
  • Assist with nonconformities, as applicable.
  • Must follow the Quality Management System.
  • Review and request supplier documents, as applicable.
  • Prepare communication for customers, under guidance.
  • Must work closely with cross functional teams (including Operations, R&D, and other quality groups).
  • Follows and maintains an environment of food and/or feed safety in compliance with rules and regulations, as applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 2 years of related experience or Bachelor's Degree (4 year degree) with no experience.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, inspection, internal and external auditing, GMP, or other related experience preferred.
  • Must have and maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and interact well with others in a team environment.
  • Must be able to use computer systems, MS Office, M3 LIMs, etc.
  • Must have attention to detail with good written, oral communication and math skills.
  • Ability to operate, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, instruct and perform method validation on lab equipment.
