SUMMARY


KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Responsible for submitting samples for testing to CTL/UL, BV, and various other labs.
  • Review production submissions against standards set in light box. Color matching ability will be an added advantage.
  • Communicate closely with overseas offices, agents and factory managers while working through the QA process.
  • Follow up on test reports with various testing labs, i.e., Consumer Testing, UL, BV, SGS and MTS.
  • Responsible for following up on mini bulk samples, buyer approval samples and other sales samples.
  • Responsible for inspecting samples upon received from overseas, prior to passing along to respective teams.
  • Respond and handle daily emails as received within a 24-48 hours’ time frame.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of testing, quality, inspection preferred.
  • Ability to work independently; be a problem solver.
  • Willing to learn and be flexible, organized, and responsible.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel or spreadsheets

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors’ Degree in related field of study: textiles or product development is preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in home textiles or Apparel Industry.
