Job description

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and organization of inventory throughout the warehouse. Working under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, this position supports receiving operations, performs inventory control activities, and ensures products are accurately received, stored, tracked, and available when needed.

This role works closely with Receiving, Shipping, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, Product Development, and Production to ensure every department can confidently rely on accurate inventory information.

Inventory is more than numbers-it is the foundation of exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and financial accuracy.

Accuracy is our standard. Curiosity is our advantage. Accountability is our commitment.

Core Competencies

Successful Inventory Control Associates possess a strong aptitude for numbers, organization, and analytical thinking. They enjoy solving problems, identifying discrepancies, and working with data to ensure inventory accuracy.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems and finds satisfaction in accuracy.

You naturally notice when something doesn't look right. Whether it's an inventory count, a product weight, a package dimension, or a receiving discrepancy, your instinct is to investigate rather than assume.

You enjoy working with numbers and are comfortable performing calculations involving weights, dimensions, decimals, fractions, ratios, percentages, and metric conversions. You understand that accuracy isn't just about getting the math right-it's about ensuring every department in the company has reliable information to make good decisions.

You are organized, analytical, dependable, and patient. You take pride in getting things right the first time while continually looking for ways to improve systems and eliminate recurring problems.

Most importantly, you understand that inventory is the foundation of trust. Accurate inventory supports Purchasing, Shipping, Sales, Accounting, Production, and ultimately the customer experience.
