Job Description

Felix  luxury lifestyle magazine seeks an enthusiastic editorial assistant to join our team. The position will support  the Editor-in-Chief (as an intern) with a variety of publicity and organizational tasks such as coordinating photo shoots, managing VIP lists at high-end events, contacting celebrity PR representatives for features, internet research, light editing/proofreading, and other tasks.

As a representative of Felix Magazine, the Editorial Assistant must be personable and professional at major events such as runway shows, recruitment fairs, and cocktail parties.



Qualifications

The ideal applicant possesses strong computer and communication skills to support assignments completed remotely/ on sight. Dependability, strong writing skills, and ability to be proactive and to multi-task and meet work deadlines independently with details oriented environment are also strongly desired. 

Prior office/internship experience is necessary and magzine publishing experience is preferred.

Educational requirements include a degree or work towards a degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
